This policy explains what information World Recipe Club (worldrecipeclub.com) collects when you visit the site, how it’s used and what choices you have. The site is run by World Recipe Club Kitchen, a small independent team. In this policy, “we” and “us” means that team.

Analytics: Google Analytics and Site Kit
We use Google Analytics, connected through the Site Kit by Google plugin for WordPress, to understand how the site is used, for example which recipes are read and how visitors find us. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect data such as pages viewed, time on page, approximate location, device and browser. We look at this information in aggregate and don’t use it to identify individual visitors.
Comments
When you leave a comment, we collect the name, email address and comment you enter, plus your IP address and browser details to help detect spam. Your email address is not published. WordPress may create an anonymised string (a hash) from your email address and send it to the Gravatar service to check whether you have a profile picture. Comments and their data are kept until you ask us to remove them.
Contact form
When you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address and message. We use them only to reply to you and to deal with your request. We don’t add you to any mailing list, and we don’t share your message with anyone else.
Cookies
Cookies are small files stored in your browser. This site uses them for:
- Basic site functions, such as remembering your details if you tick the box when commenting
- Analytics, through Google Analytics
- Advertising, through Google AdSense and its partners
