About World Recipe Club
World Recipe Club is a recipe site about home cooking from different parts of the world. You’ll find dishes like Moroccan tagine, Italian carbonara, Turkish lentil soup and Thai curries next to simple breakfasts, bakes and desserts. We want each recipe to be clear enough to follow in an ordinary home kitchen, with ingredients you can find or sensibly swap.
Who runs the site
The site is written and run by World Recipe Club Kitchen, a small independent team. We’re not a publisher or a restaurant, and no food brand sponsors us. Recipes appear under the World Recipe Club Kitchen name, not a personal byline, because they’re produced and reviewed by the team.
How we choose recipes
We choose dishes that people actually cook at home, from well-known classics to regional recipes that deserve more attention. Before we write a recipe, we look at how the dish is traditionally made and how home cooks make it today. Then we decide which version to present and note the common variations.
How recipes are written
We research each recipe using traditional and home-cooking sources, such as cookbooks, regional cooking references and established recipes. AI tools may help us with research and drafting. A person then reviews and edits every recipe before it’s published. They check that quantities, times and temperatures make sense, that the steps are in the right order and that the ingredient list matches the method.
Photos come from licensed stock libraries, with credit to the photographer, or from our own kitchen. You can read the details, including how we handle corrections and updates, in our editorial policy.
What we’re working on
- Clearer notes on ingredients, substitutions and storage
- Better organisation by cuisine as well as by meal
- Updating older recipes when readers point out problems
