Editorial Policy
This page explains how World Recipe Club Kitchen, the small independent team behind this site, researches, writes, reviews and updates recipes. It also covers how we use AI tools, where our photos come from and how the site is funded.
Sourcing
Every recipe starts with research into how the dish is traditionally made and how home cooks make it today. We use traditional and home-cooking sources, such as cookbooks, regional cooking references and established recipes. When a recipe relies on a specific source or on safety guidance, such as safe cooking temperatures, we try to name or link that source in the post. We don’t copy other people’s recipes or text, and we don’t use social media posts as references.
Writing
We write for people cooking at home. That means realistic ingredient lists, sensible substitutions, clear steps and practical notes on storage and reheating. When a dish has several accepted versions, we say which one we’re presenting and mention the others.
Use of AI tools
AI tools may assist with research and drafting, for example by summarising background information or suggesting a first outline. They don’t publish anything on their own. A person reviews and edits every recipe before it’s published.
Review
Before publishing, a team member checks each recipe for the following:
- Quantities, times and temperatures that are consistent and reasonable
- An ingredient list that matches the method, with nothing missing or unused
- Steps in a logical order, with cues for knowing when something is done
- Food-safety points, especially for meat, fish, eggs and dairy
- Clear, plain writing without padding
Photos
Photos on this site come from licensed stock libraries or from our own kitchen. We credit stock photos to the photographer and library. A stock photo shows the dish in general and may not match our version exactly.
Updates
We revisit recipes when readers report problems, when we find a clearer way to explain a step or when better information becomes available. If we change a recipe in a meaningful way, such as its quantities, method or timing, we update the date on the post.
Corrections
If you find an error, whether it’s a wrong quantity, a missing step or an inaccurate detail about a dish’s origin, please let us know through our contact page. We review every correction request and fix confirmed mistakes as quickly as we can.
Advertising
This site shows ads served by Google AdSense, and the ad revenue helps pay for hosting and running the site. Google chooses which ads to show. Advertisers have no say in which recipes we publish or what we write about them. Ads are not endorsements. We don’t accept payment for recipe coverage, and if we ever publish sponsored content, we’ll label it clearly.
